LET'S SET UP CLAUDE FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Before we get started, a few questions about your business and how you work. There are no wrong answers, and you can skip anything you're unsure about. It takes about five minutes, and it means your Claude is set up around what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all template.

WHAT IS CLAUDE, IN PLAIN ENGLISH

A very capable assistant that works at your direction

Claude is an AI assistant made by a company called Anthropic. The simplest way to think about it: it's like having a sharp, tireless assistant on hand who can actually do the work, not just point you to it.

You tell it what you need in plain language, the same way you'd brief a staff member, and it gets on with it. Real jobs from a real business, like:

  • writing emails, newsletters, info sheets and social posts
  • answering questions and explaining things in plain English
  • researching options and comparing them for you
  • working through long documents and pulling out what matters
  • tidying up spreadsheets and making sense of numbers
  • taking the repetitive thinking jobs off your plate so you can get back to the work only you can do

You stay in charge the whole time. Claude does the heavy lifting, you steer it, check the result and decide what happens next. No technical know-how required to get started.

Tick anything that sounds useful — even if you're not sure how it works yet. Don't overthink it; this just helps us set things up around what you want.

Add as many as you can think of — one at a time. The more we know, the more we can help with. For example: Canva, Xero, MYOB, Cliniko, Square, Mailchimp, Google Drive, Dropbox, Shopify, Hootsuite, Calendly.

3. Access & privacy

Claude is most useful when it can help with your real email and calendar. Totally your call — and we'll always explain what it can and can't see.

e.g. patient or health records, client financials, anything private. This matters for how we set things up safely.
